Log
In the "Log" menu, you will find all the diagnostics messages of the communications module
that have occurred. The log helps SIEMENS specialists to analyze errors. You will find
further information on the "Log" in the section "The "Diagnostics - Log" menu item
(Page 83)".

Diagnostics using the TIA Portal (STEP 7 Basic / Professional)
This section is intended only for S7 users.
Requirements
STEP 7 Basic / Professional is installed and started, and a project is open. The
communications module is connected to the controller or PC via Industrial Ethernet or
PROFINET and has been powered up.
