Before Calling For Service:
If the grill does not function properly, use the following checklist before contacting your dealer for service.
You may save the cost of a service call. Troubleshooting is for general purposes only. If the problem persists
and requires a service call, contact your dealer or the nearest authorized service agency to perform service.
Only authorized service agencies can perform warranty service.
Call a Capital specialist at 1300 762 219.
Grill won't light when knob is turned:
Remove the grill top grates and the radiant trays, watch the ignition tip.
You should see the the spark plug generating a blue spark onto the burner.
If there is no spark when the knob is in an ON position, check the electrical connections and breakers.
MAINTENANCE
