Vacuum phase

i
Make sure recovery has been performed before
generating the vacuum.
i
The vacuum phase is not started if there is
pressure in the vehicle air conditioning system. A
corresponding fault message is displayed on the
screen.
!
Follow the additional ACS 810 menu prompting.
<Vacuum> key
1. Connect the HP and LP service hoses to the vehicle
air conditioning system.

has elapsed, the vehicle air conditioning system is
tested for leaks. The result from this leak test is
displayed on the screen.
7. Close the HP and LP valves on the display and

Filling with refrigerant and fresh oil

i
Fresh oil can only be added to a vehicle air
conditioning system under a vacuum. A vacuum
must be generated prior to the filling process.
i
If pressure is detected in the air conditioning
system during the filling process, a recovery must
be conducted before the filling can be continued.
i
Fresh oil can only be added in conjunction with
R134a refrigerant.
!
Always follow the vehicle manufacturer's
instructions before altering the oil quantity.
!
Ensure that the valves on the control panel are
closed, as internal components will otherwise be
damaged and lead to impaired functionality of the
machine.
!
Filling should, if possible, only occur via the high
pressure connection. For systems that have only a
low-pressure connection, at least 10 minutes must
pass after filling before the vehicle air conditioning
system can be switched on again.
!
In oder to carry out the filling process correctly,
ensure that the there are at least 2 kg more
refrigerant in the internal refrigerant cylinder
than would be necessary according to the filling
quantity. The software does not accept any lower
values.
!
The quantity of fresh oil cannot be given and is
instead filled in a time-controlled manner. We
recommend recording the oil levels in the fresh and
used oil bottles before A/C service and noting the
required quantity of fresh oil on the fresh oil bottle.
