Drive test procedure (240 - 480V)

1. Check drive label to determine Voltage rating of drive.
2. Connect the motor, ensure correct motor connection either delta star.
3. Connect local mouse to terminal connector.
4. Check drive label, drive is either kW or HP rated.
5. Power up the drive according to voltage rating per label. Check all segments of the display
light up by pressing all the buttons and holding for 2 seconds. If a Fan is fitted, it should also
start when all the buttons are pressed.
6. Press the UP, DOWN and STOP keys together - display should show
STOP button and ensure the display shows
flashing highlighting that the drive has tripped.
7. Ensure there is 24V DC +/-10% present between terminals 1 & 7 of the control board
terminal.
8. Ensure 10V DC +/- 10% is present between pins 5 & 7 of the terminal connector.


10. Close Digital Input 1 and increase speed slowly using the pot up to 50/60Hz depending
on either HP or kW rating. Ensure 10V DC +/- 10% is present between terminals 7 & 8 at
50Hz/60Hz.
11. Close digital input 2, speed now reduces to -50Hz.
12. Open digital input 2 and speed goes back to 50Hz/60Hz.
13. Close digital input 3 and speed reduces to 5Hz.
10. Open all digital inputs and the drive should now should show

for the Checksum and software version
for the DC Bus Voltage
