• When the flash is used,it will take about 6 sec-
onds to charge the flash fully.Replace the bat-
tery if it takes more than10 seconds to charge.

USING THE SELF-TIMER

1. Compose your picture with the camera on a
steady support or fixed on a tripod.
2. Press the Self-timer Button.The Self-timer LED
will light 2HZ for about 7 seconds.Then,the LED
will blink 8HZ for about 1.5 seconds the last
1.5 seconds indicator LED will light, to indicate
that the shutter will release soon.After a total 10
seconds have elapsed,the shutter will release.

• If you wish to clear the self-timer once it has
started,close the Lens cover or press the
Selftimer Button again.

TAKING PICTURES

Open the lens cover by Sliding the lens Cover
Switch in the direction of arrow.(Fig.11)
• Lens Shield is interlocked with the safety
mechanism of the camera.You can fire the cam-
era only when the Lens cover is completely
open.
• For subjects that are less than 0.8m away from
the camera,it is not possible to obtain sharp fo-
cus.
1. Look through the Viewfinder and aim at your
subject.
2. When ready,press the Release button.
* During flash charge,Release is locked.

AUTO-FOCUS SHOOTING

1. Set the subject you wish to take within the Auto-
Focus Frame in the center of the Viewfinder
(Fig. 12)
2. Press the Shutter Release Button halfway.
3. Gently press the Shutter Release Button down
to take the picture. The film will advance auto-
matically as soon as the shutter has closed.
• Make sure the subject is at least 0.8m(2.6ft)
away from the camera.
If you want to focus on a subject that is not in cen-
ter of your picture,use the focus lock function de-
scribed below.(Fig. 13)
1. Aim the camera at the subject you want to fo-
cus on.
2. Press the shutter release button half way
• Be careful not to press the shutter release but-
ton all the way down to avoid taking an un-
wanted picture.
