Service Troubleshooting

Problem
The cooktop cannot be turned
on.
The touch controls are
unresponsive or difficult to
operate.
The cooktop has turned itself off
unexpectedly and no error
codes are displayed.
Some or all displays flash and
there is a continuous beep.
5V short circuit on power unit
12V on power unit too low
Temperature sensor at cooling body defect
Mains synchronous impulse incorrect
Sub LIN error between filter and power unit
Possible Cause
No power.
There may be a slight film of
water over the controls or you
may be using the tip of your
finger when touching them.
Possible fuse/RCD tripped
Two or more controls have
registered touch at the same
time, and one of them was the
ON/OFF control.
Some touch controls have been
registering long, continuous
contact (e.g. you may have
leaned onto the controls or left
an object on them).
Description
Make sure the cooktop is
plugged in and that it is
switched on at the wall.
Make sure the touch control
area is dry and use the ball of
your finger.
Check power to product
Turn the cooktop back on and
continue to use it.
Remove the cause of the
contact to stop the beeping,
then touch any control briefly.
Re try the cooktop.
