Power Board

The maximum power of a power board is limited to 3.7 kW. Even if the power requested by
the user interface is higher. i.e. customer using two zones on the same power board trying to
select boost function on both cooking zones.
If the user interface requests power of more than 3.7 kW from the power board, the cooking
zone which was set first is reduced in power, until the total power of both cooking zones is
3.7 kW again.
The temperature sensors at each cooking zone, monitor the temperatures below the ceramic
glass. Further temperature sensors at the cooling body protect the electronics unit against
overheating.

Note:
If a coil with a nominal power of over 1.8 kW or boost power of over 2.5 kW is connected to
the cooking zone which is the furtherest away from the cooling fan, the thresholds will be
decreased.

Touch Controller

The power switch is incorporated within the touch controller, which has pressure springs
fitted along the back ensuring the touch controller makes contact with the ceramic glass. The
user interface touch controller and the generator communicate via a bus-system.
> 80°C.The boost function of the cooking zones is switched
off and set back on cooking level 9.
>89°C. The power of the cooking zones is reduced to 60 %
of the demanded power.
