Note:
A safe temperature control of the pot is only possible with standard plane pot or pan bottoms.
If a pot has a big air gap over the middle of the cooking zone, the temperature control can be
affected.

Additional Pot Protection

The integrated pot protection prevents overheating of cookware, especially cookware with
little content in it. An algorithm in the software analyses the speed of increase of the cooking
zone temperature and reduces the power of the cooking zone if necessary.
Decrease of power depending on pot temperature - Tpot:
a) Tpot > 310 °C -> Booster switches off, decrease of power to max - nominal power
b) Tpot > 350 °C -> decrease to max. - 25% of nominal power, or
c) Tpot < 330 °C -> back to normal power

Service Menu - Configuration

Service menu
To protect the service menu accidentally being accessed by a user, the settings are only
accessible for 2 minutes after a power reset.
To do this turn the product off at the wall, wait 30 seconds, then power back on at the wall but
OFF at the touch control module, and no timer must be active.
Note: Cooking zone-specific or general errors may occur, since the access into the service
menu is possibly required in order to correct them (e.g. wrong configuration fault code -
ER31).
After the power reset, the product will bring up a sequence of lights on the control panel, after
the sequence has finished Push and Hold the Keylock Button.
