Camera settings

13.6 Device settings

• Language, time & units: Select the language, units, and date and time formats to be
used in the camera.
• Screen brightness: Adjust the brightness of the screen.
Note You can also adjust the screen brightness on the Quick menu, see section 5.3
Quick menu.
• Update: Check for updates and install new firmware versions. The camera must be
connected to the internet. See also section 15 Updating the camera.
• User interface options:
◦ Manual adjustment mode: Select the type of manual image adjustment mode (ap-
plicable to the navigation pad). See also section 8.4.4 Manual adjustment using
the navigation pad.
◦ Color theme: Select light or dark theme for the user interface.
• Reset options:
◦ Reset default camera mode...: This will affect the image mode, color palette, meas-
urement tools, and measurement parameters. Saved images will not be affected.
◦ Reset device settings to factory default...: This will affect all camera settings, in-
cluding regional settings. Saved images will not be affected. The camera will be re-
started and you will be prompted to set the regional settings.
◦ Reset image counter...: This will reset the numbering of the images. The next num-
ber will be based on the highest existing number in the image archive.
Note When a reset option is selected, a dialog box is displayed with more informa-
tion. You can choose to execute the reset action or to cancel.
• Camera information: Information about the camera and regulatory information.
