  • Page 15 Knife Sharpening SHARPENING THE KNIFE - (Regular Procedure) Start the slicer. Push the grinding stone button (Fig. 15-1) and the honing stone button (Fig. 15-2) at the same time so both stones make contact with the knife. Maintain pressure on the buttons for 5-10 seconds. TURN SLICER OFF before inspecting.

    VEGETABLE OIL WILL DAMAGE THE SLICER! Food Chute Slide Rod It is necessary to lubricate the food chute slide rod with Globe oil if the food chute becomes difficult to push. 1. Unplug the slicer and remove the food chute.
