Powering Your Unit On and Off

Your Nilai 500 has three AC power controls
● Master on / off AC switch on the rear panel
● Standby on / off switch on the front panel
● 12 Volt trigger control input
The front switch can be used to turn on and turn off (standby) the power amplifier when the 12 Volt trigger
option is not used (when used, the 12 Volt trigger overrules the front switch).

Cabling Requirements

● Balanced XLR-to-XLR or TRS-to-XLR cables are preferred
● For single-ended RCA sources, use the cable configuration in the following diagram
● Requires a minimum 13 amp, 3-prong power cord

Input Gain Jumper The Amplifier Module contains a pin header (J200) with jumper to alter the input gain setting. Voltage Gain Jumper Settings Installation Be sure to install your Hypex Class D amplifier with adequate ventilation.
