Before you install this kit —
instructions, warnings, cautions, and notes contained in
this installation instruction guide. Consult your vehicle
owner's manual for proper disconnection of electrical and
lifting of vehicle if required for installation of this product.
This install may require some technical skills and
knowledge of basic mechanical work. If you do not feel that
you are capable of performing this install please take this
product to a trained professional.

Proper installation of this kit required knowledge of the factory
recommended procedures for removal and installation of original
equipment components. We recommend that the factory shop manual
and any special tools needed to service your vehicle be on hand during
the installation. Installation of this kit without proper knowledge of the
factory recommended procedures may affect the performance of these
components and the safety of the vehicle

  • Page 3 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 2 | Use a lug nut tool to remove the spare tire. Note: Assistance is recommended to prevent injury and damage to the vehicle. STEP 3 | Use a T45 to remove the outer bolts from the door hinge. Note: Only the outer bolts need to be removed.
  • Page 4 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 5 | Lay the tire guard over the spare tire carrier. Loosely secure with the factory hardware a 13mm socket. NOTE: The Plate will sit on top of the factory tire mount. STEP 6 | Secure the tire guard to the hinge using the provided M8x50mm hardware with a 5mm allen bit.
  • Page 5 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 7 | Secure the tire guard and spare tire carrier using a 13mm socket and factory hardware. STEP 8 | Install the hinge stops by revealing the adhesive side and installing into the hinges like shown. These will help prevent the guard from hitting the tail light.
  • Page 6 INSTALLATION MANUAL STEP 9 | Once installed, slowly open the tire guard as wide as possible checking to make sure that the guard will not contact the taillight. STEP 10 | Re-install the spare tire using a lug nut tool. If you are running a high offset wheel/ factory wheel (regular and Sasquatch) you will either need to run a ET lug nut...
