Replace the Rimage DL/DLN5200
Use this procedure to set up your replacement unit when you are completing a rapid
exchange.
The term '5200' is used throughout this document to refer to the DL5200 and the
DLN5200.

Note: Your system may not look exactly like the system pictured.

Before you begin:

1. Stop or pause all jobs.
2. Power off the embedded control center.
3. Power off the 5200.
4. Disconnect the power cord from the 5200.

Remove the printer.
a.
From the back of the printer disconnect the cables.
Caution: Some cables in your system may be latched. Equipment
damage may occur if cables are not disconnected appropriately.

Remove the printer from the 5200 and set it aside.
Caution: Lift the Everest printer with care; it is very heavy.

Disconnect the cables. (DL5200)
From the back of the autoloader, disconnect the cables:

FireWire Cable

USB Cable

Disconnect the cables. (DLN5200)
From the back of the autoloader, disconnect the cables:
•
Power Cord
•
Serial Cable
, if present
•
Network Cable
•
USB Cable
•
Monitor
•
Keyboard
Serial Cable
•
Mouse
Mouse*
Keyboard*
Power Cord
*A monitor, keyboard, and mouse are required only if the system is not
connected to a network.
