EVGA Z370 Classified K (134-KS-E379)
Mic Recording Volume adjusts the level of volume that will be picked up by the mic –
including background noise – and played back to listeners or captured by a recording.
This setting is the easiest way to make quick adjustments to your voice level.
Mic Boost is used to increase the gain of the recording device. Whereas Mic Recording
Volume is more of a fine-tune option for volume, Mic Boost is designed to make sure
you're at the correct volume level to allow for fine-tuning.
"CrystalVoice," similar to the SBX above, enables the voice tools in the lower section.
Similar also to the SBX, disable this if you prefer the natural sound of your recording
audio rather than utilize the features.
"FX" will be covered on Page 104.
"Smart Volume" automatically adjusts the loudness of the speaker's voice to maintain a
consistent volume level. This makes it convenient for the speaker to converse normally,
regardless of whether the speaker is close to or far away from the microphone.
"Noise Reduction" is used to help filter out background noise such as other voices, fan
noise or any other ambient sound that a mic might hear.
"Acoustic Noise Cancellation" is used to eliminate echoes and enables your listener(s) to
hear you more clearly. Enabling this setting will cut down on audio artifacts caused by
proximity to walls or unusual room acoustics, as well as noise picked up from your front
speakers.
