About PTZ (Pan Tilt Zoom)
• Adaptive Near Limit – Enable or disable the adaptive near limit function.
• Illuminator type IL1 – Select the illuminator type connected to illuminator connector IL1.
• Illuminator type IL2 – Select the illuminator type connected to illuminator connector IL2.
• Image Freeze Mode – Select Presets to freeze the video stream while the camera changes the preset position. Select
All to freeze the video stream while the camera changes the preset position or when pan/tilt is operated manually.
Select Off to disable the image freeze mode.
• Light sensor enabled – Select to activate the light sensor.
• Light sensor switch threshold – Enter a value for the light level coming from the light sensor that triggers the Light
sensor virtual input.
• Light sensor switch time – Enter a value for the minimum time required above or below the set Light sensor switch
threshold before a virtual input change is generated.
• Light sensor update threshold – Select to update the Light sensor switch threshold value to the current light sensor value.
• Light sensor virtual input – Enter the virtual input port number that should be triggered when the light sensor goes above
the Light sensor switch threshold. If you enter 0, no virtual input port is triggered.
• Move Speed – Enter a value for the pan/tilt speed.
• Nozzle Position – Select to use the current pan/tilt position as the washing position, and to enable the Washer button on
the Live View page.
• Speed Zoom – Enable or disable the speed zoom function.
• Speed Zoom on AF – Enable or disable the speed zoom with autofocus function.
• Washer pump pin – Enter a value for the I/O port the washer pump is connected to.
• Washer pump time – Enter a value for how long the pump should run in the washing procedure.
• Washer wiper time – Enter a value for how long the wiper should run in the washing procedure.
• Wiper dwell time – Enter a value for how long the wiper should run independently from the washing procedure.
For any changes to take effect, click Save.
About advanced PTZ settings
Advanced PTZ settings can be configured under PTZ > Advanced > Controls.
The Panel Shortcut Command Buttons list shows the user-defined buttons that can be accessed from the Live View page's Ctrl
panel. These buttons can be used to provide direct access to commands issued using the VAPIX® application programming interface.
Click Add to add a new shortcut command button.
The following PTZ controls are enabled by default:
• Pan control
• Tilt control
• Zoom control
• Focus control
• Iris control
To disable specific controls, deselect the options under Enable/Disable controls.
