Appendix D Cooling system
The cooling system of the switch includes air vents in the chassis, fan trays, and fans of power supplies.
To guarantee effective operation of this cooling system, you must consider the site ventilation design
when you plan the installation site for the switch.
HP 5930-32 QSFP+/HP 5930-32 QSFP+ TAA and

TAA cooling system
You must install two fan trays of the same model for the HP 5930-32 QSFP+/HP 5930-32 QSFP+ TAA
and HP 5930-2Slot+2QSFP+/HP 5930-2Slot+2QSFP+ TAA switches: LSWM1HFANSC or
LSWM1HFANSCB.

When the LSWM1HFANSC fan trays are used, cool air flows in through the air vents in the fan tray
panel and the power supply panels, circulates through the chassis and the power supplies, and
