WATER SUPPLY CONNECTION
4. If you use copper tubing - Slide the brass
compression nut, and then the ferrule
(sleeve) onto water supply line. Push water
supply line into water valve inlet as far as
it will go (¼"/6.4 mm). Slide the ferrule
(sleeve) into the valve inlet and finger
tighten the compression nut onto the valve.
Tighten another half turn with a wrench;
DO NOT over tighten. See Figure 1.
If you use braided flexible stainless steel
tubing - The nut is already assembled on
the tubing. Slide the nut onto the valve inlet
and finger tighten the nut onto the valve.
Tighten another half turn with a wrench;
DO NOT over tighten. See Figure 2.

With a steel clamp and screw, secure the
water supply line to the rear panel of the
refrigerator as shown.
6.
Coil the excess water supply line (copper
tubing only), about 2½ turns, behind the
refrigerator, as shown, and arrange the coils
so they do not vibrate or wear against any
other surface. Do not kink the tubing.
7.
Turn ON the water supply at the shutoff
valve and tighten any connections that leak.
8.
Reconnect the refrigerator to the electrical
power source.
9.
To turn ice maker on, ensure the ice maker
is enabled on display (LED will be lit) or set
the ice maker's On/off power switch to the
ON position (freezer ice maker).

IMPORTANT
Your refrigerator's water supply system
includes several tubing lines, a water filter,
and a water valve. To ensure your water dis-
penser works properly, you must completely
fill this system with water when your refrig-
erator is first connected to the household
water supply line.
NOTE
These instructions do not cover after market
ice maker installation. Use the instructions
in after market ice maker kit.
