21 TROUBLESHOOTING
Faults
White smoke emission (steam
in exhaust gas)
Gear oil exits at the vent hose
Water in the gear oil
Malfunction indicator lamp

12-V battery discharged

Damaged cylinder head or

Check the cylinder head and cylinder
head gasket.

Check the gear oil level. (

the water pump.

Check wiring for damage and electri-
cal plug-in connectors for corrosion
and damage.

Read out the fault memory using the
Husqvarna Motorcycles diagnostics
tool.

Check charging voltage.
–
Check the stator winding of the alter-
nator.
–
Check the open-circuit current.
–
