Disposing of packaging

The environmental protection and the preservation of its resources are of high priority for our
company goals. A worldwide environmental management system in accordance with ISO
14001 ensures compliance with the law and sets high standards. Environmentally friendly
design, technical safety and health protection are solid targets even during the development
of our products. Below please find the recommendations for environmentally friendly
disposal of the SICHARGE UC Dispenser and its components.
Disposing of packaging material
• Dispose of packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner or recycle the
material. Comply with the waste disposal regulations and environmental protection
regulations.
• If needed, contact a specialist disposal company.
• Wooden packaging for sea transport consists of impregnated wood. Observe the local
regulations.
• The foil of the sealed packaging is an aluminum compound foil. The foil can be thermally
recycled. Dispose of dirty films by waste incineration.
11.2

Disposing of the charging station

This device is used for charging electrically operated vehicles and is thus subject to the EU
Directive 2002/96/CE on waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Disposal must be
carried out in accordance with national and regional regulations for electrical and electronic
equipment. Old devices and batteries must not be disposed of by household waste or bulky
waste. It should be made ineffective before the device is disposed of.
