Before you start using it

• Please make sure to read the instruction manual carefully.

For your safety

• The product should only be used as described within these instructions.
• Unauthorised repairs, modifications or changes to the product are prohibited.
• The product is not be used for medical purpose or for public information, but is intended only for home use.
• Keep this instrument and the battery out of reach of children.
• Batteries must not be thrown into a fire, short-circuited, taken apart or recharged. Risk of explosion!
• Batteries can be fatal if swallowed. If a battery has been swallowed, get medical assistance immediately.
• Batteries contain harmful acids. Low batteries should be changed as soon as possible to prevent damage caused by leaking.
• Wear chemical-resistant protective gloves and glasses when handling leaking batteries.

On product safety!

• Do not place the unit near extreme temperatures, vibrations or shocks.
• Protect it from moisture.

Getting started

• Pull off the protection foil on the display.
• Open the battery compartment by turning the lid in direction of the arrow by using a coin and remove the insulation strip. Close the battery compartment again.
• All LCD segments will light up for about a few seconds.
• The unit is ready for use.
• The upper display shows the indoor temperature and the comfort level.
• The lower display shows the indoor humidity.
• Take out the battery to shut down the instrument.

Temperature indication

• Press the button to change between °C (Celsius) or °F (Fahrenheit) as temperature unit.

Maximum and minimum values

• Press the button.
• appears on the display.
• The highest indoor temperature and humidity are displayed since the last reset.
• Press the button again.
• appears on the display.
• The lowest indoor temperature and humidity are displayed since the last reset.
• To go back to the present temperature display, press the button once more. The instrument will automatically quit the MAX/MIN mode if no button is pressed within a longer time.
• Press button while the highest or lowest values are displayed to clear the recorded values.
• -.- °C and --.- % appear on the display.

Comfort level

• On the display appears a smiling face icon to indicate the comfort level of indoor climate (40%...60%).

Care and maintenance

• Clean your instrument with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents
• Remove the battery if you do not use it for a long period of time
• Keep the instrument in a dry place.

Troubleshooting

If your device fails to work despite these measures contact the supplier from whom you purchased it.
