1. Set the Weather Channel
a. Auto Scan
The MXT105B has an auto scan feature that can automatically set the
weather channel. However, it is highly recommended that you look
up your weather channel as described above to ensure it has set the
correct one.
1. Press and hold the Monitor-Weather
to enter Weather mode.
2. The MXT105B will automatically scan for an active weather
channel.
3. You can press the Scan
channel if necessary.
4. When you hear the National Weather Service broadcast, press
the Menu
the next setting.
b. Manual Entry
1. Press and hold the Monitor-Weather
to enter Weather mode.
2. Briefly press the Menu
start flashing.
3. Use the Channel Up
your weather channel.
4. Press the Menu
move to the next setting.

2. Listen to Weather

After you have set the Weather Channel, you can listen to
current weather conditions and forecast directly from the National
Weather Service.
a. Press and hold the Monitor-Weather
to enter Weather mode.
b. You will hear the voice of the National Weather Service.
c. Press the PTT button to exit weather mode.
