    Introduction Congratulations, you’ve just booked our 2020 Thor Omni BB35 from RV There! The purpose of this document is to help prepare you to safely operate the vehicle and to teach you how to use all the great features it has to offer. The more you read through this document, the more time it’ll save you when you come to pick it up and you can also refer to this document after your departure for clarification or to review things you may have forgotten.
  • Page 4 6. The in-dash radio has standalone navigation or can be used as a navigation device when mirrored to your smartphone. There are USB ports for connecting with a cable or you can connect via Bluetooth. 7. When driving in mountainous areas, use the gear selection arrows on the transmission selctor on the steering column.

    Outside Features 1. All of the basement storage compartments can be locked. Feel free to use them but try to avoid the ones that have electronic components nearby. If these electronics get bumped by a suitcase it could render the slides unusable and will trigger a repair that may be charged against your security deposit.

    If you lose power to the slides, or refrigerator or AC units (You may still have fans but no cold air) you will want to check that the 100-amp breaker that is located under the top step entering the coach has not tripped. After you open the latch on the step, on the left side of the compartment when looking down into the compartment you will see a breaker with a cylindric blue post sticking out of it.

    c. It is okay to run the rooftop A/C units while under way as long as you start the generator first. See electrical system section for instructions on starting the generator. Don’t forget to reset the AGS system after you’ve turned the generator off. d.

The coach must be running and parking brake engaged to extend the main slide by first pushing the RET (Retract) button for 3 to 5 seconds and then pushing and holding the EXT (Extend) until the slide stops moving out. You can tell when it’s gone as far as it will go by the sound of the motor.

    ii. There is a screw cap on the outside of the coach towards the rear of the drivers side labelled “CITY WATER FIXTURE”. This is where you would attach the potable water hose which will pressurize the coach. You do not need to run the water pump when attached to city water.
  • Page 11 a. Water Hookup i. It would be a good idea to refill your on-board fresh water tank prior to departure so you have some supply for your next travel leg. ii. Disconnect the hose on both ends and return all items back to the same clearn container it came from.

    5. With the engine running and the sun out, the alternator and the solar panels will charge the battery. 6. Monitor the voltage at the control panel. When it reaches 12.5 volts, attempt to start the generator manually. If it cranks and doesn’t start, wait until the voltage climbs a little higher and try again.
