Floppy disk drive
To remove the CD-ROM drive, do the following:
1.
Power-off the server, if it is on.
2.
Unplug the server.
3.
Remove the cover (see "Removing the side cover" on page 59).
4.
Disconnect the cables.
5.
Remove the screws from the CD-ROM drive cage.
6.
Gently slide the floppy disk drive toward the rear of the server and lift it out.
Before you begin:
•
Read "Safety information" on page 133.
•
Review the information in "Before you begin" on page 58.
To remove the floppy disk drive, do the following:
1.
Power-off the server, if it is on.
2.
Unplug the server.
3.
Remove the cover (see "Removing the side cover" on page 59).
4.
Disconnect the cables.
5.
Remove the screws from the floppy disk drive cage.
