How to Assemble Your Light Kit Assembly

1 (Option A--for use with light kit)
Remove one of the three screws in the motor assembly.
Slightly loosen the remaining two screws. Assemble
the light plate assembly to the motor assembly using
the two key slots. Replace the third screw and securely
tighten all three screws. (Figure 1A)

(Option A--for use with light kit)
Connect the 2 single-pin connectors from the motor
assembly to the 2 single-pin connectors from the socket
plate assembly. (Figure 2A)
CAUTION
To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect the
electrical supply circult to the fan before installing
light kit.

(Option B--for use with steel cap)
Assemble the steel cap to the adapter switch housing
by twisting in a clockwise direction. (Figure 2B)
NOTE: If you have installed your fan with the steel cap,
skip steps 3 through 6.
3. Remove one of the three screws in the light
plate assembly. Slightly loosen the remaining two
screws. Assemble the socket plate assembly to the
light plate assembly using the two key slots.
Replace the third screw and securely tighten all three
screws. (Figure 3)
4. Insert light bulbs into sockets. (Figure 4)
CAUTION
To reduce the risk of fire, use 75-watt max. type
T4-minican JD E11 tungsten halogen bulb. Turn off
the wall switch and allow the bulb to cool for 10
minutes before relamping.
Bulb is pressurized and may shatter. DO NOT
TOUCH BULB WITH BARE HANDS. Fingerprints
may result in shorter bulb life. Remove fingerprints
with alcohol prior to use.
