4.3.10 USB Configuration

■ Legacy USB Support
This item allows you to select <Enabled>, <Disabled> or <Auto>.
Enabled: To enable legacy USB support.
Disabled: To keep USB devices available only for EFI specification,
Auto: To disable legacy support if no USB devices are connected.
■ XHCI Hand-off
This is a workaround for OSes without XHCI hand-off support. The XHCI ownership change should be
claimed by XHCI driver. Select <Enabled> or <Disabled>.
■ EHCI Hand-off
This is a workaround for OSes without EHCI hand-off support. The EHCI ownership change should be
claimed by EHCI driver. Select <Enabled> or <Disabled>.
■ USB Mass Storage Driver Support
Enables or disables support for USB storage devices.
■ USB Transfer time-out
Use this item to set the time-out value for control, bulk, and interrupt transfers. Select <1 sec>, <5 sec>,
<10 sec> or <20 sec>.
■ Device reset time-out
Use this item to set USB mass storage device start unit command time-out. Select <10 sec>, <20 sec>,
<30 sec> or <40 sec>.
■ Device power-up delay
Maximum time the device will take before it properly reports itself to the Host Controller. "Auto" uses
default value: for a Root port it is 100ms, for a Hub port the delay is taken from Hub descriptor.
