Installation
• Mount the wall mounting bracket (Fig. 4.2 A). See Fig. 4.2
for the recommended height and the drilling dimensions.
Note that the mounting height given only applies if the
extraction arm is mounted at 2,600 mm (102.4 in.) and
the Statiflex 400-MS is horizontally in line with the outlet
opening of the extraction fan. Make sure there is sufficient
space at the top (min. 700 mm [27.6 in.]); when replacing
the filter the cover must be removed.
• Position the complete Statiflex 400-MS (Fig. 4.3 A) over
the wall bracket (Fig. 4.3 B).
• Subsequently, as desired, mount on the inlet opening of
the Statiflex 400-MS:
- a spiralo-tube (Ø 160 mm [6.3 in.]), over the T-profile;
- a CKS (flexible extraction hose [Ø 160 mm/6.3 in.] with
two hose clamps).
• Saw one or both outlet opening(s) open (they are located
in the recesses of the dust barrel) and, if necessary,
connect the outlet opening(s) to an air duct system.
• Check that the complete extraction system is airtight. If it
is not allowed to recycle the air, connect the outlet opening
to an air duct system which leads the air to the outside.
• Finally, lock the complete unit by inserting two bolts in the
slotted holes in the filter body; this is necessary.

Installation of the prefilter box
To install the prefilter box, refer to the instruction sheet.
4.2.2
Electric connection
The 24 VAC supply for the Statiflex 400-MS is obtained via the
CB control box. For this purpose the supply cable (NCW-11)
and the cap nut (PG-7) are also included. The cap nut must be
mounted in the CB.
• Connect the NCW-11 to the three-pin connection block on
the rear of the Statiflex 400-MS and on the CB (see the
corresponding manual).
waRNiNg
Prevent damage. Note the colour code of the cable
when connecting.
waRNiNg
Switch OFF the mains supply of the CB before
connecting the NCW-11.
4.2.3
Compressed air connection
The cleaning mechanism functions on compressed air with a
recommended working pressure of 400-500 kPa/4-5 bar (1600
- 2000 in. WG/60 - 75 psi). Always make sure that the
working pressure is between 400-500 kPa/4-5 bar (1600
- 2000 in. WG/60 - 75 psi). Preferably the pressure should be
at 450 kPa/4.5 bar (1800 in. WG/65 psi). If required, mount a
pressure reducing valve to prevent the safety valve from being
actuated.
waRNiNg
Prevent damage to the cleaning mechanism.
Make sure that the compressed air is free from oil
en moisture.
• Connect the compressed air hose to the cap nut (1/4" int.)
on the rear of the Statiflex 400-MS.
