Use the product only as described and only for the given areas of application. Keep these instructions safe.

Correct use

The product is only for private, indoor use and not to be used for commercial purposes.

This product is a special product because the x/y coordinates are outside the theoretical white point.


Not suitable for general household lighting.

Safety notes


Read these instructions for use carefully and always keep them for later reference!

  • The product is not a toy.
  • Check the product for damage or wear before each use. The product may only be used when in perfect condition!
  • No modifications may be made to the product!

  • Never leave children unsupervised with the packing material. There is a risk of suffocation.

warning Warnings on batteries!

  • Remove the batteries if they are empty or if the product is not going to be used for an extended period.
  • Do not use different battery types or brands, new and used batteries in combination, or batteries with different capacities, as they leak and can thus cause damage.
  • Observe the polarity (+/-) when inserting batteries.
  • Change all batteries at the same time and dispose of the old batteries properly.

  • Batteries may not be charged or reactivated in any way. They may not be dismantled, thrown into fire, or short-circuited.
  • Always keep batteries out of the reach of children.
  • Do not use rechargeable batteries!
  • The cleaning and user-maintenance may not be carried out by children without supervision.
  • Clean the batteries and the device contacts as necessary and before inserting the batteries.
  • Do not expose the batteries to extreme conditions (e.g. radiators or direct sunlight). Otherwise there is an increased risk of leaks.
  • Batteries can endanger life if swallowed.
    Keep batteries out of the reach of small children for this reason. Seek medical help immediately if a battery is swallowed.

  • Handle a damaged or leaking battery with extreme care and dispose of it properly and immediately. Wear gloves to handle the battery.
  • If you come into contact with battery acid then wash the affected area with soap and water. If battery acid gets in your eye rinse it out with water and seek medical help immediately!
  • Do not short-circuit the terminals.

Battery contact protection (Fig. A)

The article has been provided with a battery contact protection in order to prevent inadvertent activation of the batteries. In order to deactivate this protection, the protective strip (5) needs to be pulled out of the slot (6). To reactivate the protection, insert the protective strip back into the slot.

To switch the item on or off, slide the switch (1) to ON or OFF.

As soon as the item is switched on, the timer function is also activated, and the light will shine continuously for 6 hours. It switches itself off automatically again for 18 hours, with automated repeats every 24 hours.

Changing the batteries (Fig. C)


Observe the following instructions to avoid mechanical and electrical damage.


There is one battery in the item. You can replace the battery if it stops working.

Changing the batteries

  1. Open the battery compartment (4) by removing the lid (2).
  2. Carefully remove the empty battery (3) from the battery compartment (4).
  3. Replace it with a new battery.

    Take note of the plus/minus poles of the battery and insert the battery correctly. The battery must be completely fitted into the battery holder.
  4. Close the battery compartment again

Care and storage

Always store the article in a clean, dry place at room temperature. Clean the article with a damp cloth and a mild detergent. Storage temperature: +10 - +25°C

Disposal

Dispose of the article and the packaging materials in accordance with current local regulations. Packaging materials such as foil bags are not suitable to be given to children. Keep the packaging materials out of the reach of children.


Devices that are marked with the symbol shown here may not be disposed of with domestic waste. You are obliged to dispose of these kinds of used electrical and electronic devices separately. Ask your local authority about possible methods for regulated disposal. Remove the batteries from the article before disposing of it.

Dispose of batteries carefully


Please note: Batteries are hazardous waste and may not be disposed of with domestic waste by law. You can hand over used batteries free of charge at local collection points or at retail outlets.
