Connection of the power and signal cable on the electronic unit

Power supply
Observe the following points when connecting the power supply:
• You must be able to activate the power supply of the
electronic unit on-site.
• In the power supply, the supplied fuses must be installed
for certain electronic units (see External fuses for EBS862
on page 27).
• Connect the power supply to the corresponding terminals
of the electronic unit (see electrical connections starting
on page Electronic unit EAS822 (Contrac) / EBS852
(Contrac) on page 21).

Note
The conductor cross-section between the fuses and the
electronic unit must be at least 2.5 mm
In addition to the internal fuses, the EBS862 electronic unit
requires two additional external fuses which are supplied
separately with the assembly.
The fuses are switched externally in the power supply.
The fuses guarantee safe operation under the special starting
conditions of the electronic unit.
