CAUTION : Do not use corrosive products.
The dispenser is tested at its maximum supply capacity in the manufacturer's premises.
However, it can be set according to the kind of tableware, the hardness of water or the kind
of rinse aid. Once set, the dispenser will automatically supply the desired quantity.
- To set the desired quantity: rotate the upper screw clockwise to reduce or anti-clockwise
to increase, by 1/4 rotation.
To make sure that the quantity of rinse aid is correct, check the washed tableware after the
washing cycle:
- If they show a bluish streaking and the tank contains foam, there is too much sur-
factant,
- If they have water drops on them and they take a long time to dry, there is too
little surfactant.
Before setting the desired surfactant quantity, it is advisable to establish the hardness of
water through an apposite test. If water hardness is greater than 15°F (French degrees), it
is advisable to install a water softener upstream the power supply electrovalve of the
appliance.
The quantities mentioned here are indicative and only provided by way of example, as
quantity changes substantially according to the concentration and composition of the pro-
duct. The instructions supplied with the surfactant will provide any necessary information
to establish the right quantity. To measure out the right quantity of product, remove the
transparent pipe from the surfactant reservoir after intake and measure the fluid column
change inside it.
The quantities mentioned here were calculated referring to the characteristics of a good pro-
duct on the market (whose recommended concentration is 1,5 g per 10 l of rinsing water)
and to a water hardness of 10-12°F. As 1 g of this product (1 cm³) corresponds to 8 cm of
the fluid column inside the transparent intake pipe, the quantity of product will approxi-
mately correspond to 3 cm of the pipe.
To activate the rinse aid dispenser, proceed as follow:
Unscrew the screw completely until it stops, then repeatedly insert the small pipes into the
reservoir, in order to fill them with rinse aid.
Failure to observe all the abovementioned prescriptions, none excepted, will result in
the loss of any guarantee given by the manufacturer.
