USE
The LS 3 and LS 4 dishwasher models have been designed attaching special attention to
the safety of users, by employing certified materials and components and testing the
appliance directly on the factory premises (see the Testing Certificate inside the dishwas-
her with this manual). Any personnel in charge of using these appliances must have pre-
viously read this manual or must have been trained to use them.
SAFETY DEVICES OF THE APPLIANCE
The appliance has the following user safety devices:
- Microswitches stop the appliance operation if the door is opened.
- A thermo-amperometric protection stops the washing pump in case of anomalous opera-
tion (with automatic reset).
- A tank water level regulator enables the appliance to work only when water has reached
an optimal level in the tank.
- A boiler safety thermostat stops power supply to heating elements if temperature gets too
high, for example when water is not sufficient. (In this case, interrupt power supply to the
appliance and call the technical assistance service).
- A level safety device stops the water loading electrovalve (models with drain pump) in
case of main regulator malfunction.
- The overflow pipe has an automatic water overflow device in case of level regulator mal-
function (models with gravity drain).
- Electromagnetic filters prevent the emission and immission of any electromagnetic radia-
tion coming from any other electrical and electronic appliance (Electromagnetic
Compatibility in conformity with Directive 89/336/EEC).
- All metal components are connected through an equipotential circuit.
Furthermore, the compulsory presence of a main power disconnection device in the net-
work (automatic magnetothermic or fuse switch) enables to stop the appliance in case of
short circuit or overload.
WARNING :
The manufacturer disclaims all responsibilities, with consequent loss of the guarantee,
in case that safety devices have been tampered or in case that the obligations and acci-
dent-prevention regulations imposed by the manufacturer and by laws in force have
not been observed.
