INSTALLATION, USE AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL
- The power cable is supplied without plug, so that the proper type of plug can be installed
in line with local regulations.
- Each appliance must be powered through an indipendent electric line with the proper vol-
tage (the total power supply value can be found in the "Technical Specifications" table at
page 27). If the supplied cable is too short, it must be connected to the line terminal strip
through a flexible rubber cable with insulation characteristics not lower than the characte-
ristics of model H 07 RN-F.
- The conducting wires between the cable gland and the terminal strips must be long
enough so that the active conducting wires tighten before the grounded conducting wire
(yellow-green) does, in case that the cable comes out from the cable gland.
- Apposite omnipolar automatic safety switches (with an opening of contacts of at least 3
mm) and highly sensitive automatic safety differential devices. They should protect against
direct or indirect contact with electrified elements or possible malfunction shocks being
discharged to the ground, in compliance with laws in force (maximum loss of current per-
mitted: 1 mA/kW).
Grounding and equipotential connection
- The appliance must be grounded to the terminal strips marked with the
symbol, pla-
ced close to the line terminal board.
- Make sure the metal structures of all the electrical devices installed are interconnected, by
connecting the cables to the terminal strips marked with the
symbol (in this appliance,
they are placed on the right back side).
The abovementioned prescriptions are absolutely necessary for the correct operation
of the appliance.
