To start-up the engine, rest the vehicle on its centre stand.

Make sure light switch «1» is set to low beam.

Turn key «3».
NOW:
THE ENGINE OIL PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT "4" TURNS ON THE INSTRU-
MENT PANEL AND REMAINS SO UNTIL THE ENGINE STARTS UP.
THE INJECTION CHECK WARNING LIGHT «2» REMAINS ON FOR THREE SEC-
ONDS ON THE INSTRUMENT PANEL AFTER ALL THE OTHER WARNING

LIGHTS HAVE TURNED OFF.
IF THIS WARNING LIGHT DOES NOT TURN ON OR IF AFTER THREE SECONDS
THE WARNING LIGHTS DO NOT TURN OFF, CONTACT AN Official Aprilia Deal-
er.

Block at least one wheel, by operating one brake lever "6". If this does not
occur, it means there is no current in the ignition relay and the engine does
not start. »
