Customer Service Department

In the event of a malfunction, contact the Miele Customer Service Department.
When contacting the Customer Service Department, please quote the model, serial num-
ber (SN) and material number (mat. no.) of your machine. This information can be found on
the data plate. The data plate is visible in the door ring when the drum door is open, or on
the back of the machine at the top:

Please also pass on the fault message appearing in the machine display to the Customer
Service Department.
Use only original Miele spare parts. The Miele Customer Service Department will also re-
quire the model, serial number (SN) and material number (mat. no.) when ordering.

Problem solving guide

The majority of faults and problems that arise during day-to-day use can be remedied
without external assistance. You can save time and money in many cases, as you do not
need to call the Miele Customer Service Department.
The following tables are designed to help you to find the cause of a malfunction or a fault
and to resolve it. You should, however, note the following:
 Repair work to electrical appliances should only be carried out by an authorised
technician. Repairs by unqualified persons can cause considerable danger to users.
