2.2 ERROR CODE LIST
A082 ERROR CODE
Installed Chip Error
This tankless water heater has a gas chip
on the control board. If the gas chip has a
poor connection or the data that gas chip
has is inadequate/wrong, the water heater
displays the "A082" error code on the User
Interface.
Diagnostic check items
• Gas chip

Turn Power OFF
Confirm that the correct gas chip is installed.
Is the chip
correct?
Yes
Remove and reinsert gas chip.
Does error code
"A082" appear?
Yes
Replace new gas chip.
No
Insert the correct gas chip.
No
The chip has a loose connection.
Gas chip appear to be OK.
