2. OPERATION GUIDE
Note:
- At this service manual, it mentions only the Operating Instructions
of PT-L759U as the representative of PT-L759U, PT-L759E and PT-
L759A.
- Because some pages in the user instruction manual are used for
this chapter (page 5 through 50 in this service manual) without
change, note that the page numbers shown in the sentences of
this chapter are those of the user instruction manual.

3. SERVICE CAUTIONS AND NOTES

3.1. SERVICE POSITION

The position shown in Fig. 3-1-1 is used for checking, adjusting and replacing parts.
Extension Cable (LSUA0024) is necessary for servicing.
1. In the order described in the "4.2. Disassembly Method of Cabinet
Parts" of 4. Disassembly/Assembly Procedures, remove the Top
Cover Ass'y.
2. Remove 7 screws (F) and 2 screws (G) as shown in Fig. 4-2-6.
3. Disconnect connectors P3501, P3502, P3503 and P4001 on the
Main C.B.A.
4. Connect Extension Cables as follows:
A. Connect Extension Cable (36 pin) between P3501 on the Main
C.B.A. and LCD Red Unit.a) Connect Extension Cable (36 pin)
between P3501 on the Main C.B.A. and LCD Red Unit.
B. Connect Extension Cable (36 pin) between P3502 on the Main
C.B.A. and LCD Green Unit.
