8.6 USE OF EXTERNAL POWER
Connect the ground power unit to the plug cabin side of firewall on
passenger side. Limit electrical load to 5A to avoid discharging of the
battery. Especially when doing updates programming avionics for
longer period. The plug can also be used to load the battery.
NOT FOR ENGINE START PURPOSE, only for
charging the battery and assist battery by longer
ground run operation of panel only (Software update,
programming, etc).
If external power is needed to start the engine, un-
cowl top half, get access to the battery, start the
engine and charge the battery in ground run.
Shutdown engine and re-cowl top half. Then start
engine with battery. Otherwise exchange battery.
