The following components are protected by a main 40A ANL Fuse:

Main Bus from Battery to Fuse Blocks

Power Distribution Block 1, Block 2 and Essential Bus
The 40A ANL Fuse protects the main electrical bus system from
severe electrical currents / faults. If this fuse is drawn the main bus
system is faulty and must be repaired mandatory.
Essential Bus
The system is equipped by an essential bus which can be switched on by the
essential bus switch on the instrument panel. In case of failure of the electrical
system including the main bus, essential applications can be fed directly from
the battery. This connection is redundant to the bus system. The following
components are fed by the essential bus:

Starter Switch

Flaps

Trim

VHF Com

Fuel Pump

Transponder
