8.4 GROUND HANDLING
When taxiing the aircraft ensure that the taxi path and propeller back
blast area is clear. In the first few feet of taxi apply the brakes to
check for effectiveness. Taxi with care and slow to prevent
unintentional take off
Pulling and pushing
One person can move the airplane on a smooth, level surface using
the tow bar. A towbar can be temporarily attached on the nose wheel
fork. If the aircraft has to be lift of his front wheel, pull down with two
hand at the end of the fuselage under the stabilizer.
Parking
For short durations, the parking brake should be sufficient to secure
the aircraft. For longer durations, chocks should be placed at least on
the nose wheel. Also consider to install the pitot tube protection and
secure the control joke (stick) with seat belt or other means for guest
protection. Be sure to remove before flight.

blades near the hub. Do not push the airplane on
the spinner. Do not push or lift at the wing struts or
stabilizer
