V. Troubles and remedies
Trouble
The motor does not work, runs slowly or
gets too hot
Stuck in the compressor
Vibrations or abnormal noise
The pressure is insufficient or the discharge
capacity is decreased
Oil consumption is excessive
VΙ. Safety instructions
a) Suitable material: air
b) Intake temperature is 40, exhaust temperature is less than 180.
c) Filter characteristics relate to quality and quantity, and the recommended replacement frequency is 250 hours.
d) Pressure limit is 0.1Mpa and lubrication system temperature is less than 70.
e) Warning: incorrect oil viscosity during cold start , clogged oil filter or valve malfunction can cause oil shortage.
f) Beware of very hot surfaces.
g) Valve maintenance and testing requirements:
Release valve: when the inside of the valve loses control and when the pressure is above the valve, the release valve will automatically open to protect the
inter-cooler.
Safety valve: When the pressure switch loses its effectiveness, the pressure in the tank will be 1.1 times the indicated pressure, the safety valve will automat-
ically open to protect the machine. Note: both of the above valves are strictly security settings, any change or revise is expressly prohibited.
h) Instructions for proper use are listed on the next page. Check according to the warning, lifting and transportation should be performed carefully on the
machine.
i) Warning: all connections and hoses are suitable for use with air compressors.
j) Recommendation: For pressures above 7 Bar , supply hoses should be fitted with a safety grip, e.g. not wire rope
k) Deviations from the horizontal position are prohibited
Before transporting the air compressor:
1) Lift the base
2) That a safety harness is in place to stop the machine if necessary.
3) That the cables are correctly connected
4) That the brake is not activated, where fitted
5) Carry out proper cleaning of connected hoses and equipment
6) If the brake is not activated place plugs in front of the wheels.
7) The service instructions describe the procedure and should only be carried out by an authorised service agent.
