Preparation 1. Installation of the posts on a load-bearing surface Make sure the surface (foundation) is strong and solid enough for the 4 (corner) posts. The substructure must be levelled. The gutters are optional. The water drainage can be installed on the front or on the back on the outer side against the post.
Page 9
2. Setting posts in concrete Provide foundation holes of min. 600 x 600 x 800 mm (width x length x height) for the (corner) posts. The substructure must be perfectly levelled. The gutters are optional. The water drainage can be installed on the front or on the back on the outer side against the post.
Posts with post support PGDX 110/110 ø Preparation posts (4 X) The post must be sawn to the right length (H– 59 mm). Drill a central hole (Ø 11) 200 and 600 mm from the bottom in the 2 opposite sides below. Use a countersink 90° Ø...
Page 12
Slide the posts PGDX over the post support PS and use 4 bolts M8 x 20 to attach the posts on the post support. Do not tighten the bolts yet. PGDX Put the 4 posts on the corners of the ClimaCar with the support plate facing inwards. Be sure to brace these posts until the construction is completed. 12/32...
Posts in concrete PGDX 110/110 Drill a central hole 50 and 150 mm from the top in the 2 opposite sides above. Use a countersink 90° Ø 16,5 mm (art. 51197) to make the hole conical. The transparent sticker art. 49566 can be used here as a drilling stencil. 90°...

Installing the posts in the foundation Set all posts in the foundation holes. The post must be at least 40 cm deep. Seal off the opening of the post with foil to prevent concrete from entering the post. The inside of the post is not protected against the aggressive effect of concrete.
Supports C110 Preparation supports (2 x) Drill holes for the connection profiles 72 x 110 Check the length of the supports. These are sawn to the correct length. Place the support on its side on trestles. Drill 4 holes of Ø 11 mm in the ends on the side of the support. These holes are necessary to connect the left and right supports to each other on the ends by means of the 72 x 110 profile.
Page 16
Possibility 2: the post is not placed on the extremities Drill 4 holes of Ø 11 mm in the bottom side. DX is the distance between the edge of the gutter support and the central line of the post. The transparent sticker art. 49563 an be used here as a drilling stencil. Ø...
Rectangular profile 72 X 110 Preparation rectangular profile (2 x) Check the length of the rectangular profiles. These are sawn to a length of 3018 or 3493 mm. Place the profiles on trestles. Drill 4 holes of Ø 11 mm in the extremities on the shortest side of the profile. Use a countersink Ø 16.5 mm (art. 51197) to make the holes conical.
Rectangular profile 35 X 35 LP08 GT35 Preparation rectangular profile (1x or 2x) Check the length of the rectangular profiles. These are sawn to a length of 3018 or 3493 mm and pre-drilled on the ends (Ø 8.5 mm). Place the profile on trestles. Length of support max.
Installation substructure Posts Check the distances between the posts and brace them sufficiently (see pg. 8 & 9). Installation supports (2 x) Place the supports on the posts. Slide the brackets into the posts. The lowest lips of the support slide over the posts with a press fit.

Installation rectangular profile(s) 35 x 35 1 tie rod is provided in the middle for a carport with a depth of 5000 mm. 2 tie rods are provided at 1/3 of the depth for a carport with a depth of 7000 mm. If the length >...
Installation gutters G120A (2 x) Preparation gutter G120A Drill a hole with a circular drill Ø 80 mm for the outlet at 55 mm of the end where water drainage is necessary. The gutters are screwed on the outside against the supports. Make sure the upper side of the vertical lip matches the upper side of the support GX.
Installation superstructure Installation base profiles PL836 Preparation base profiles Pre-drill the base profiles with Ø 6 mm in the middle of the flat flange at 35 mm from the ends and at intermediate distances of max. 5000 mm. Place the base profiles on the supports (see p. 24). Make sure the drip edge of the base profile meets the edge of the gutter.
Page 24
You can recognise a left (L) base profile by the 3 holes drilled on the left side on the end. A right (R) base profile has 3 holes drilled on the right side on the end. For carport 5000 mm: 2 x 2497 L 2 x 2497 R 6 mm...
Page 25
Installation lower arches LP533 Ø 4 mm First, install the outer arches. Even them out with the ends of the base profiles. Drill a hole of Ø 4 mm in between the 2 vertical edges into the support on each end of the lower arch. Tighten with the self-drilling inox screws ZSB. Afterwards, position the other arches against the pre-drilled holes of the base profile and tighten with screws.
Page 26
Installation lateral upper arches LP512 The lateral upper arches must be installed with the vertical edge facing outwards. Place the small strip of polycarbonate with the closed side facing outwards between the lower arch and the upper arch. Place the bolts M8 x 60 in the middle hole of the base profile on the end of the upper arch.
Page 27
Installation draft strips LP505 The draft strips clamp the sheets in the base profile. The draft strips for the shorter sheets (first and last sheet) must be sawn off to 883 mm or 888 mm. The draft strips of 928 mm are used for the other sheets. Use a wooden board to hammer in the draft strips.
Finish Installation water drainage Place the outlet in the opening, seal with silicone and turn the swivel tight. G120A • Version without post clips for drainpipe: Screw 2 pipe clamps per drainpipe in the post with the self-drilling screws ZSB (H : 800 / 1600 mm). Bring the drainpipe to size so the sleeve is preserved.
Page 29
Installation end plates The ends of the gutters are closed with the end pieces G120AS. Attach the end pieces to the gutter with the supplied silicone. G120A G120AS Close the ends of the supports with the end plates GDSX (4x). Use the supplied self-drilling lacquered screws ZSG.
