3.1 Main Unit and Secondary Unit Operating Mode
The CC-CO is configured via jumpers. All jumpers are plugged in to position 2-3 ex works. All communication
converters are therefore preconfigured as the main unit.
For normal operation, a communication converter must be configured as the main-unit device and the 2nd
CC-CO as the secondary-unit device. If you want to reconfigure the device to a secondary-unit device, plug the
jumper M/S into position 1-2.
