Press the SYNCHRO COPY/HIGH SPEEDswitch.
NOTE ABOUT TAPE COPYING:
When
the
SYNCHRO COPY
switch is
pressed,
the decks will not
enter
the
tape copy
mode
unless both are
initially in the stop
mode.
When repeating the
tape copying,
be
sure to
leave
the original
tape in deck I. Making
a copy
of
a copy
will result in a deterioration
in
sound
quality.
When
performing
tape
copying,
the
copy will
be produced
with
the same
noise reduction
effects as those used
on
the original
tape,
regardless
of the
position
of the
NOISE REDUCTION
swit-
ches.
For example, if
the
original tape was recorded with the
Dolby C type noise
reduction,
the
copy
will be produced
with the
same
Dolby C
type
noise
reduction
effects.
When making tape copies, adjustment
of
the
recording
level
is
not
required.
During high-speed
copying,
the recording muting function
will
not
operate.
If
tapes
of differing lengths are
used, the tape copy
mode
will
be
cancelled
when the shorter
tape reaches
its end. Be sure
to
use
tapes of the same
length.
NOTE DURING HIGH-SPEED
COPYING--------~
When
performing
high-speed
copying with this
unit, if a television is
used nearby, a
high-pitched
interference sound
may be heard
on the
recording.
In
this
case,
either use
the normal-speed copying
func-
tion, or
turn
off the
power to
the
television
