TAPE EDITING
NORMAL SPEED COPYING (Editing of continuously recorded tapes)
This function allows you to edit undesired material
(commercials, nar-
ration
,
etc .) from a continuously recorded tape of a radio
broadcast,
in order to produce a tape of music
only.

(radio broadcast recording, etc .).

When you wish to resume recording,
press the pause switch.
Deck II will once again enter the recording
mode.

Load a non-r ecorded tape.

Press the SYNCHRO COPY /NORMAL
switch.
When the tape reaches a part you wish
to
eliminate,
press
the
recording
muting switch.
Deck I will continue in- the playback
mode, but a non-recorded interval of
about four seconds length will be produc-
ed on deck
II,
and the deck will then enter
the recording standby mode
.
RANDOM PROGRAMMED TAPE COPYING (Editing of selected tracks only)
Once again review the procedures for random programmed playback (page 8).
Load a music tape.
Select the REVERSE MODE switch
(see page 6).
Select the noise reduction
system.
Load a non-recorded tape.

Press the PROGRAM switch

Press when recording tracks on side B; then,
perform step

Check the direction of tape travel on deck II.
Press the programming switches in the order
of the tracks to be copied.
When listening to the playback sound at nor-
mal speed while copying, press the
SYN-
CHRO COPY /normal switch.
When you wish to copy the tape at high
speed, press the SYNCH RO COPY /HIGH-
SPEED switch.
