Determining the water hardness
In order to determine the water hardness in
your place of residence, you can
– look on the website of your water provider.
– telephone your water supplier.
– purchase suitable test strips at the phar-
macy.

1. Obtain the appropriate setting from the
table above.
2. Close the dishwasher door.

it off with the (1) button.

Adjusting the water hardness
Do not allow more than 1 minute to elapse
between the following steps, otherwise the
setting process will be interrupted.

1. Close the dishwasher door.
2. Switch on the dishwasher using the
button (1).
3. Press and hold the P button (5) as long
as required until the current water hard-
ness is shown on the display (8):

4. Push the P button (5) as many times as
required to display the required hard-
ness level.
5. Switch the dishwasher off with the
ton (1).
The hardness level setting is saved.
