11 Turning The RAELink3 2.4GHz On

1. Press and hold [MODE].
2. When the display turns on, release the [MODE] key.
The RAE Systems logo should appear first. (If the logo does
not appear, there is likely a problem and you should contact
your distributor or RAE Systems Technical Support.) The
firmware version is shown, along with the date of installation,
and then the RAELink3 2.4GHz's serial number.
Once the startup procedure is complete, the instrument shows
a numerical reading screen with antenna signal strength,
battery capacity, and GPS icons, and (if GPS is turned on) the
number of satellites the RAELink3 2.4GHz is receiving
positioning data from.
A text line shows the Bluetooth connectivity status and
indicates the ID of the last Bluetooth-linked monitor. This
indicates that the instrument is fully functional and ready to use.
