    Purchase the BenQ Projector Ceiling/Wall screen. Note that a special rear projection Mount Kit from your dealer to mount your screen and the BenQ Projector Ceiling/Wall projector. Mount Kit are required for this installation location.

    All measurements are approximate and may vary from the actual sizes. BenQ recommends that if you intend to permanently install the projector, you should physically test the projection size and distance using the actual projector in situ before you permanently install it, so as to make allowance for this projector's optical characteristics.

Binding an AMS administrator account to your projector Once you have enabled the AMS function, the next step is to bind an AMS administrator account to your projector so as to designate a specific administrator for your projector (i.e.

To unbind an administrator account: 1. Log in on the projector using the Username and Password for the current administrator.     The projector uses Over-the-Air (OTA) updates to install the update file wirelessly. When a new version is available on the BenQ OTA server, a message will pop up once the projector is connected to a wireless network. You can find the availability of a new firmware version from the notification icon on the lower-part of the BenQ Launcher home screen.

    When the Auto Source Search function is enabled in the Settings menu of the projector’s OSD menu, the projector will display the BenQ Launcher home screen by default every time it is powered on. Broadcast Settings is an app that helps you get started with the DMS app. Use the various QR codes shown in the Broadcast Settings screen to either download the DMS app or link the projector to a DMS account.

  • Page 81 Advanced menu Picture The projector is preset with several predefined picture modes so that you can choose one to suit your operating environment and input signal picture type. • Bright: Maximizes the brightness of the projected image. This mode is suitable for environments where extra-high brightness is required, such as using the projector in well lit rooms.
  • Page 82 Gamma Selection Gamma refers to the relationship between input source and picture brightness. • 1.8/BenQ: Select these values according to your preference. • 2.2: Increases the average brightness of the picture. Best for a lit environment, meeting room or family room.
  • Page 83 Color Management The Color Management provides six sets (RGBCMY) of colors to be adjusted. When you select each color, you can independently adjust its range and saturation according to your preference. To make adjustments, press the / arrows to highlight an independent color from among Red (R), Green (G), Blue (B), Cyan (C), Magenta (M), Yellow (Y) or White (W).
  • Page 84 Display There are several options to set the image's aspect ratio depending on your input signal source. • Auto: Scales an image proportionally to fit the projector's native resolution in its horizontal or vertical width. 15:9 picture • 4:3: Scales an image so that it is displayed in the center of the screen with a 4:3 aspect ratio.
  • Page 85 This projector features a 3D function which enables you to enjoy the 3D movies, videos, and sporting events in a more realistic way by presenting the depth of the images. You need to wear a pair of 3D glasses to view the 3D images.

    Shutting down the projector 1. Press on the projector or on the remote control and a confirmation message will appear prompting you. If you don't respond in a few seconds, the message will disappear. 2. Press a second time. The power indicator flashes orange, the projection lamp shuts down, and the fans will continue to run for approximately 90 seconds to cool down the projector.
