Verify that the expansion module is connected to the controller
and that the patch cables are plugged into the connectors.
There may be no power being supplied to the controller.
Verify that the RJ-45 crimp connectors were installed on the cable
correctly. See "Subnetwork communications wiring" on page 8.
Verify that the RJ-45 crimp connectors were installed on the cable
correctly. See "Subnetwork communications wiring" on page 8.
Each expansion module must be set to a unique address for each
controller. See "Device addressing" on page 9.
Verify the distance between the expansion module and the next
and previous device on the WTC subnetwork. See "Subnetwork
communications wiring" on page 8.
Check the configuration of the expansion module; for example,
verify whether the expansion module is enabled. Refer to the
Network Communication Interface documentation for more
information.
Only the last module on the WTC subnetwork must have its EOL
termination set to ON. All other modules must have their EOL
termination set to OFF.
Check that the wiring is correct according to this manual and
according to the peripheral device's manufacturer.
Using a voltmeter, check the voltage on the input terminal. Short
circuit (0 V) and open circuit (3.3 V).
Check the configuration of the expansion module; for example,
verify whether the expansion module is enabled. Refer to the
Network Communication Interface documentation for more
information.
An over-voltage or over-current at one input can affect the
reading of other inputs. Respect the allowed voltage / current
range limits of all inputs. Consult the appropriate datasheet for
the input range limits of this expansion module.
Check that the wiring is correct according to this manual and
according to the peripheral device's manufacturer.
Check the configuration of the expansion module; for example,
verify whether the expansion module is enabled. Refer to the
