Installation of Tape Device Driver

Here to explain an installation of the tape device driver for Windows Server OS. Before an installation, refer to
attached startup guide to get the tape device driver.
Some backup software, there is no need of the device driver installation. If a Backup software is to be used,
please refer to the manual provided from an independent software vendor.
As an example, device driver installation procedures for Windows Server 2012R2 operating system are
described below. Installation procedures for other operating system are basically the same.
For Windows sever 2012R2
Log on as Administrator.

Start the Device Manager and confirm that the internal LTO is displayed in [Other devices].

Internal LTO
N8151-143 Internal LTO(LTO7)
N8151-144 Internal LTO(LTO8)
Click [Driver] tab in dialog box, and click [Update Driver] button.
