Installing the tape device driver

Only install the device driver if you intend to use the standard backup feature in Windows
2000,Windows XP, or Windows Server 2003.
Install the device driver in the basic processing unit with the supplied CD-ROM Prepare
the CD-ROM beforehand.
For Windows 2000 Users

Click the [Start] button, point to [Settings], click [Control Panel], and then double-click
[System].
The [System Properties] dialog box appears.

Click the [Hardware] tab, then click the [Device Manager] button.
The [Device Manager] window appears.

Make sure that [SONY SDX-
460V] appears in [Other devices],
and then double-click it.
The [SONY SDX-460V Proper-
ties] dialog box appears.
