INSTALLATION Extendable window kit 1. Open the window and insert the window kit into the open gap. Close the window until the window kit is held securely. You may need to adjust the size of the window kit and secure it with screws. This technique may also be used for sash windows. - Page 8 Mounting of the Exhaust Pipe • Only use the hose provided and clip exhaust hose to the back of the air conditioner. • Avoid kinks and bends in the exhaust hose. This can cause humid air to accumulate, causing the unit to overheat and shut down.
- Page 9 Installation of the Carbon Filter Remove the filter frame from the unit. Separate the filter fixer from the filter frame. Remove the activated carbon filter from its plastic bag. Attach the activated carbon filter to the filter frame. Reattach the filter fixer onto the filter frame {the activated carbon filter should be placed between the filter frame and filter fixer firmly).

Press the ON/OFF button. The unit will start automatically: For cooling only model: AC-10100E R.T. (room temperature) ≥ 75 F → the unit will work in cooling mode R.T. < 75 F → the unit will work in fan mode For cooling &... - Page 11 Setting the Model/Function: Press the MODE button to select the desired mode (cooling, fan or heating). Setting Temperature Press 'Temperature up' or 'Temperature down' button to change the set temperature. The display window will indicate the set temperature. If not, the temperature displayed will show the ambient room temperature.
- Page 12 Heating Function (For AC-101OOH Only) 1. When the air conditioner is in heating mode, ambient warm air is recycled and used to heat your immediate area. The exhaust pipe will still need to be fitted onto the unit in order for the cold air to be removed.

DRAINING THE UNIT During the cooling process, some water will be extracted from the air and stored within the unit's water reservoir.
